OKLAHOMA CITY— The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, in conjunction with the Mustang Heritage Foundation, is conducting a unique summer camp, August 9-10 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students at Camp Wildfire will learn about the fundamentals of art, as well as about the wild mustang, its characteristics and history.
 
The camp is suitable for children ages 12 to 16. Campers interested in art and horses will enjoy the art projects, gallery tours, games and activities they will take part in during this camp. One the second day, campers will travel via motor coach to the U.S. Bureau of Land Management wild horse and burro adoption facility in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
 
Camp Wildfire will be guided by instructor Jennifer Hustis. Tuition is $25. There is limited enrollment and advanced reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling (405) 478-2250, Ext. 277.
